Website information

Clear information.
Thoughtful use.

How the site works, how to use the resources, and how to request help. Updated October 30, 2026.

Privacy and email

The website does not ask you to enter worksheet responses, client information, or personal health details. Downloading a worksheet does not submit your answers to Breaking the Bond.

This is a public website. Hosting providers may process technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. Their own privacy information applies to those services.

Contact links open your own email application. If you choose to send an inquiry, your email provider and the recipient’s provider process that message. Breaking the Bond receives the information you choose to email so Kayla can respond. Please do not include client records or sensitive health information.

The email signup link opens an external subscription service. Information you submit there is handled through that service; review its privacy information when signing up. Use the unsubscribe option in subscription emails if you no longer want them.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Requests for fonts, ordinary hosting requests, and external links can expose technical information such as an IP address to the relevant provider. No advertising or analytics script has been added to this version. This page will need updating if data collection or services change.

Using the resources

You may download and print the original Breaking the Bond resources for personal use or your own professional sessions. Do not resell the files, repost them for public download, or distribute them as your own work. Share a link to the resource page instead.

Linked third-party resources remain subject to their owners’ terms. References to source organizations do not imply endorsement.

The materials are educational resources and reflection tools. They are not individualized counseling, diagnostic instruments, risk assessments, validated treatment protocols, continuing education courses, or a guarantee of an outcome. Professional users should review suitability and adapt within their competence and setting.

Accessibility and alternate formats

Pages use headings, descriptive links, text alternatives for resource previews, keyboard-accessible controls, and responsive layouts. Resource pages include an expandable text version of each PDF. The downloadable PDFs are designed for printing and are not interactive fillable forms; full screen-reader compatibility of the PDFs has not been verified.

If you need a different format or find a barrier, email the resource or page title, the issue, and your preferred format. Avoid sensitive personal or client details. Request help with a format.

Counseling and safety

Using this website, subscribing, downloading resources, or sending a general inquiry does not establish a counselor–client relationship. Private practice is in development, and appointments are not available through this website.

The contact inbox is not a crisis or emergency service. For immediate danger or a medical emergency in the U.S., call 911.
