Stop Caring About What Other People Think

It is a lot easier said than done, but it is also freeing not worrying about what everyone else is thinking. When it comes to what you wear, eat or read that is all about what makes you happy and feel good. It may not look good or feel good to other people but they aren’t you so stop comparing yourself to them.

When we entered this world it was just us and when we leave it will also just be us. But, God also put people in our lives that will love us unconditionally most of the time these people are our family. If I make a mistake or do something really dumb these people are still going to love and support me no matter what.

If I decided I liked this guy I was dating, but I was worried about what my family would think about him I might break up with him because I too worried about what everyone else will think and then I would always wonder what if. In reality, if I like this guy and my family doesn’t for whatever reason they aren’t going to stop reading my story because they don’t like this chapter. The people who truly care about me will continue to read my story and be there for me even if they don’t like the current chapter.

God is the author of this story and you are the main character. We may not always make the best choices but that is what make the story interesting, and if we are always worried about what other people are thinking then our story is going to be real boring.
